Constructors can upload .puz versions of their crosswords to see what it looks like when it’s analyzed on XWord Info, and to provide a link for their test solvers. We made some updates last year, and now we’ve made a few more minor changes.
- We fixed a bug where it wasn’t always possible to unsave your puzzle. The idea is, when you save, you get a private test link for your solvers. (This does not constitute “publishing” for purposes of selling your crossword.) Once you no longer need that link, you can now reliably unsave it.
- Some users who extensively use the Analyze feature end up with a lengthy list of past puzzles they’ve uploaded with no way to delete them. Unsaved puzzles older than a month are now automatically deleted.
